Varsity Shoots Season-Best 358 as Districts Approach

The Pierce High School golf team showed off their hard work as the varsity and junior varsity teams competed at their home course. The team continues to gain valuable experience, both teams are setting the foundation for a strong finish to the season.

The varsity team turned in a team score of 358, with a balanced effort from all five players. Cooper Wachholtz delivered the standout performance of the day, leading the team with an impressive 75. 

Noah Fuerhoff Gubbels followed with a solid 91, helping keep the team competitive. 

Close behind were Tyler Schulz, who shot a 95, and Payton Cederburg, who posted a 97. Rounding out the team was Cameron Kuehler, who finished with a 100, contributing to the team's strong overall showing.

The consistency among the scores also highlights the team's depth and teamwork.

On the junior varsity team, younger players took to the course eager to build experience and confidence in competition. The JV team recorded a combined score of 507. 

Brayden Lambrecht led the way for the JV squad with a 115, followed by Alexzander Weinrich, who shot a 125. Korbin Gordon added a 133, and Charlie Ottis wrapped up the round with a 144.
