PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given, in compliance with the provisions of State Statute Sections 13-501 to 13-513, that the governing body will meet on the 14th day of September, 2026 at 6:00 pm and will not be limited by time, at the high school meeting room 201 N Sunset ST Pierce NE 68767 for the purpose of hearing support, opposition, criticism, suggestions or observations of taxpayers relating to the following proposed budget and to consider amendments relative thereto. The budget detail is available at the office of the Clerk/Secretary during regular business hours. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given, in compliance with the provisions of State Statute Section 77-1632, that the governing body will meet on the 14th day of, September 2026 at the later of 6:15 pm or the conclusion of the budget hearing, which is scheduled prior to this hearing and will not be limited by time, at the high school meeting room 201 N Sunset ST Pierce NE 68767 for the purpose of hearing support, opposition, criticism, suggestions or observations of taxpayers relating to setting the final tax request.
The Pierce Public School District #2 Board of Education will hold a regular meeting on Monday September 14, 2026 at Pierce High School, Pierce, Nebraska the later of 6:30 pm or after the completion of the 2026-27 budget and 2026-2027 tax request hearings which begin at 6:00 pm. This meeting is open to the public and an agenda, kept continuously current, is available for public inspection in the office of the superintendent.
