FFA District Range Judging
The Pierce FFA members competed in District Range Judging around Butte, NE on Tuesday, September 19.
For the Range Judging Contest, FFA members are tested on their plant identification skills and reading the landscape to determine the ecological site, condition of the rangeland, amount of usable forage, and number of animals that can be supported on the land.
Pierce FFA members competed against other FFA chapters including Verdigre, Boyd County, Emmerson-Hubbard, Stuart, Summerland, West Holt, Keya Paha.
The Pierce FFA contestants were Brianna Rundell, Trever Montgomery, Kovin Fritz, Trayton Christiansen, Evelyn Skrdla, Isabelle Streff, Jessa Kraft, Lauren Delka, Lily Risinger, Bailey Thelen, Logan Gubbels, Cole DeBoer, Brandon Thomsen, and Xavier Miller.
