The Blue Devils scored two points in the first inning while the Lady Jays scored nothing.

In the second inning, the Blue Devils added seven points while the Lady Jays yet again did not score anything, so the Lady Blue Devils led 9-0.

During the third inning, the Lady Jays scored three points while the Lady Blue Devils scored nothing, making the score 9-3 at the end of the inning.

The final score of the game was 15-5 in favor of the Lady Blue Devils.

The main pitchers of the game were Madelyn Hanson and Hayle DeBoer.

Angeline Skrdla and Hanson each had two RBIs.

“Defensively we were not good in either game.  Our pitching was fine, we just didn't make the routine plays to get out of innings. Offensively we hit the ball well against two good pitchers,” said head coach Michael Emory.

Then the Lady Jays played Boone Central for the second game and lost again, 15-5.

Pierce was tied throughout the first two innings as the first inning had no one score at all and during the second inning, both teams scored four points.

Then in the third inning, the Cardinals scored 10 points while the Lady Jays did not score at all.

In the final inning, both teams scored one point, making the final score of the game 15-5 in favor of Boone Central.

The main pitcher of that game was Kylie Dvorak. M. Hanson had two RBIs.

“We didn’t do as good as we should’ve. But all together we did do some good things and some bad things,” says Cailynn Gardner.
