By Chase Rasmussen
The girls golf team traveled to Hartington on Thursday, Sept. 14, to compete in a triangular where they fought hard but finished third overall with a team score of 236 on the nine hole round.
Rylee Altwine had the best score for the Bluejays, shooting a 48. Veronica Orona was on the verge of a personal best with a 55.
“Overall, as a team we are getting better, but the last week has been tough,” head coach Jason Freudenburg states. “The team is battling some injuries. The girls have to be patient, heal up, and continue to improve for conference, districts, and state.”
The Lady Jays golf team will travel to Wayne Thursday, Sept. 21, to partake in the girls varsity Metteer Invitational.
