“I’m a smart cookie, and I’m involved in the school. That’s why I obtained the NSAA Believers and Achievers award,” says Sydney Kuper, one of Pierce High’s Believers and Achievers for the 2025-2026 school year.
The Pierce High School believers and achievers of the 2025-2026 school year were Kuper, Emily Endorf, and Colter Anderson.
The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) and Currency sponsor Believers & Achievers, a state-wide awards program that recognizes Nebraska’s future leaders. Believers & Achievers was designed to recognize high school students in Nebraska for their academic excellence and participation in NSAA activities. Students who demonstrate a commitment to citizenship, school involvement, and community projects will be honored in the Believers & Achievers program.
“I feel honored to be nominated for this award. I know that it is a big accomplishment, and I am proud. Many great student-athletes could have been selected, and yet they chose me, so I feel honored and excited to have been nominated for this award. I think I was nominated because of the high standard I hold for myself in academics and athletics. I try my best to be a leader on the court and in the classroom,” says Endorf.
Students entering their senior year who have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 (on an unweighted 4.0 scale) and participate in NSAA-sponsored activities are eligible for nomination.
Each school may nominate a maximum of four students. Member schools were encouraged to consider diversity and inclusivity when selecting the nominees.
