New Students at PHS

Pierce Welcomes Matthew Christensen

Matthew Christensen recently transferred from Plainview High School to Pierce High School in the second semester of his junior year. 

Christensen mentioned his reason for coming to Pierce was started when he saw the opportunities the Pierce High School football team offered. 

In Christensen’s spare time, he enjoys lifting weights and playing football. So far, his favorite class at Pierce High School is trigonometry with Mrs. Stelling. Christensen claims his experience at Pierce High School has been amazing and also mentioned that “the staff and students at Pierce High School make it a great place to be.”

The PHS class of 2022 now has 59 students.


Pierce High Re-Welcomes Torie Premer

Torie Premer recently transferred back to Pierce High School after previously attending here during her 7th grade year. She joined the freshman class.

Premer stated that her reason to return to Pierce was because of all the friends attending here as well.

Premer mentioned that even though she does not currently participate in any extracurricular activities, she enjoys life here at Pierce High. 

Premer also noted that her favorite class so far is Health and PE. She claims that she prefers Pierce because “Pierce offers more challenging classes and the teachers are better at helping out the students.”

The class of 2024 now has 57 students at PHS.


New Student Towanjila Joseph

This semester Pierce High School is very happy to welcome freshman Towanjila Joseph back. She moved to Pierce with three of her four siblings. One is in seventh grade, JehyLa Joseph, and two brothers of which are in elementary school. 

She previously attended school in Madison. 

Joseph enjoys art and playing volleyball. She loves hanging out with her husky. 

So far this semester, Joseph says she has enjoyed school and meeting friends. 

Joseph says she likes physical education class, and she is excited about what the rest of the year will bring.

The PHS Class of 2024 now has 57 students.
