New Staff Profile: Amy Lambrecht

by Victoria Orona

Amy Lambrecht has joined the Pierce High Staff as a guidance office assistant.

Prior to working at Pierce High, Lambrecht went to Northeast Community College, where she majored in journalism. From there, she raised cattle at home with her family before an opening at Zion Lutheran popped up. She was happy to work with the kids there since all her life she had been around them through volunteer work. While at Zion, she worked in office administration and technology for seven years before she resigned. After a year of just raising cattle at home, she came back to working with students by coming to PHS, about which Lambrecht said, “I missed that when I was just raising cattle.”

Her family consists of her husband Jeff Lambrecht, whom she has been married to for 22 years;  their son Isaac, who is a senior at Pierce High; as well as her daughter Autumn, who is an 8th grader at Zion.

In her spare time, Lambrecht enjoys the outdoors, photography, and going to her kids events, saying, “That’s all I really have time for anymore!”
