Pierce FFA Awards Banquet

On Saturday, April 20, Pierce FFA held its annual awards banquet at the Pierce Pavilion.
Every year the Pierce chapter presents awards, and chapter degrees awarded this year include the discovery, greenhand, and chapter degrees.
Discovery degrees were awarded to Joslynn Kraft, Cayden Unseld and Brayden Wolken.
Greenhand degrees were given to Lauren Delka, Jessa Kraft, Evelyn Skrdla, Isabelle Streff and Bailee Thelen.
The chapter degrees were presented to Trayton Christiansen, Cayden Holan, Alexandria Huwaldt, Camden Jansen, Taydym Koch, Seth Nelsen, Kaylee Olson, Veronica Orona, Chelsey Ottis, Alexis Sporleder and Clay White.
Finally state degrees were granted to Trever Montgomery and Ashley Wacker.
Toward the conclusion of the evening, new FFA officers were sworn in. The FFA's new president is Alexis Sporleder, vice president is Veronica Orona, secretary is Bailee Thelen, treasurer is Dierck White, the reporter is Evelyn Skrdla, the sentinel is Kaylee Olson, and finally the historian is Brody Knox.
“I am definitely excited for this year's new officer team but I'm also nervous because I'm one of the oldest and most experienced, so it's a little nerve-wracking but I think it will be a fun exciting year,” Sporleder comments
Pierce FFA also had only one new junior officer, Lillian Stern.
In addition to the awards and swearing in of new officers, speeches were given by outgoing officers including Montgomery & Angeline Skrdla.
