One Act Play Chooses Cast

Another fall activity has begun! This year the Pierce High one-act team will be bringing Tim Kochenderfer’s Dracula to life.
They held tryouts for their play September 3 and 4. On Friday, September 6 the one-act members were assigned their roles for the play. The lead roles, Mina, Jonathan, and Dracula, will be played by Halle Ross, Caydan Retzlaff, and Shawn Zellmer, respectively. Zellmer will also play the part of Vlad Dracula. Zach Price plays two roles--Hawkins and Renfield. Mrs. Tinsley and Lucy will be played by Abygail Streff, Van Helsing by Emilia Goetsch. Vampire women 1, 2 and 3 will be played by Madisyn Hamm and Aundrea Huber. Devil will be played by Eli Jones, Elizabeth by Sydney Erickson, and Madison Altwine will play the roles of Captain and Dr. Frankenstein. Posse members 1, 2 and 3 will be played by Chloey Cederburg and Angel Heisinger, and Frankenstein by Gage Longe.
Good luck to the one act team as they work hard in practice this season. They will be performing for the community at 7:00 pm at the Pierce Auditorium on November 16. Following that will be the Mid-State One Act Competition at the Johnny Carson Theatre in Norfolk.
