Students Do Community Service
by Tazlynn Sporleder
In appreciation for community support and to build an appreciation of giving, students and teachers at Pierce High spent the morning of Thursday, September 20 helping community businesses and elders of Pierce.
The students went with their study hall advisers and had assigned jobs to do. Some service work they did included picking up trash throughout the town and in area ditches. Others washed fire trucks and a police car. Some washed windows for downtown businesses, cleaned the Carnegie Library, cleaned at Willow Lake. Some helped around the school, cleaning and even pouring cement.
