Individually, two wrestlers went undefeated, with Cody Yawn going 4-0 at 132 and Ryder Fuchs going 3-0 at 195.

“I was proud of how hard we competed even though we only had two days to prepare for the meet,” said coach Tyler Legate. The tournament took place following a week that contained three snow days for students, which meant just two days of practice.

The Jays will compete again on Friday, February 2, for a dual with Pender, and again on Saturday, February 3, for Mid-States competition at Norfolk Catholic.
