On Monday, March 27th, from 6:30 to 8:45PM, Pierce High School will host a career night for all students in grades nine through twelve. The evening will feature a guest speaker and fifty guest panelists who will talk about their careers and the the post high school education needed for those careers. The keynote speaker will be Jodie Meyer who is a research analyst from the Nebraska Department of Labor in Lincoln, Nebraska. The fifty panelists will be divided into nine panels according to their career fields such as Environmental and Agricultural Systems, Health Sciences and others. Each student will have the opportunity to attend two sessions of nine panels represented. Everyone presenting is volunteering their time and evening to assist Pierce High students in understanding the real world of work and post secondary education.

Attendance is required for all Pierce High School Students.  Parents are also welcome to attend the event with their teens. At the end of the evening a drawing, open all students attending, will be held for one $200 dollar scholarship and one $100 scholarship.
