Fourth Graders Read "Honest Abe's Words"
A group of fourth graders read "Honest Abe's Words", a biography of Abraham Lincoln's. The students read important facts and details about Abe's life.They learned his view on slavery and about the treatment of people during the mid-1800's. After reading the story, the kids wrote details on paper strips and arranged them in chronological order to make a large poster of events in Lincoln's life. Here you see them working in small groups forming their posters.
