On Tuesday, Erickson came out of the first nine holes of the day with a score of 55. In the last nine holes, Erickson had a score of 54. Her total of the second day was a 109.

Out of 89 girls competing in the Class C state meet, Erickson came in at 50th with a total score for two days being 211. The individual winning score of the Class C girls golf meet was a 145.

“Sydney made a great showing at state. Her first round of 45 was her best 9-hole round,” said coach Melinda Stelling.

This wrapped up the Lady Jays’ golf season. As the season ended, coach Melinda Stelling said, “I would say just overall they all improved in their overall games because their scores improved throughout the whole season. I was most proud of the fact that they did improve as the year progressed and that we had a state qualifier.”
