Bluejays To Play Norfolk Catholic In The State FB Championships

Advanced Ticket Sales Start Friday - High School Office

The Pierce Bluejays advanced to the championship round of the state football playoffs with their win over Ogallala 35-0.  The Bluejays are now 11-1.  They will play Norfolk Catholic in the championship game on Tuesday, November 23 in Memorial Field in Lincoln.  The game will begin at 2:45 p.m. There will be NO school in Pierce on Tuesday.  There will be school on Monday, November 22 and on Wednesday, November 24. School will be dismissed at 1:30 on Wednesday, November 24 for Thanksgiving break as previously scheduled.  There will be no school Thursday and Friday, November 25 and 26.

Student Pep bus sign up information - If you want to ride down to Lincoln next Tuesday on a pep bus, please sign up in the office by this Friday. You MUST HAVE $5.00 to deposit when you sign up. More information will follow if enough students sign up

Norfolk Catholic advanced to the finals with a win over Milford.  Both semi-final games pitted the #1 and #2 seeded teams with the #2 seeds winning in both cases.

Pierce was assigned to the west division for the football playoffs and earned the #2 seed.  The number one seed in the west division was 10-0 Ogallala.  Pierce has victories over Chadron (54-7), Ord (48-7), St. Paul (49-21) and Ogallala (35-0) in the first four rounds.  Click here to view the entire Class C brackets.

Admission prices for the game are $7 for adults and $5 for students.  No passes are accepted.  Tickets can be purchased beginning on Friday, November 19 in the high school office.  Please make checks payable to Pierce High School.
