Getting to Know Raleigh Pfeiffer

By Brynn Schwartz

Senior Raleigh Pfeiffer describes herself as a calm and organized person. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and making memories.

Family plays an important role in Pfeiffer’s life. She is very close with her parents and her two older sisters, who are 22 and 19. Although her sisters are both in college and no longer live at home, she still shares a very close relationship with them.

One of Pfeiffer’s favorite childhood memories is spending most of her summer days jumping on the trampoline with her sister Soiyer. Her family also has a Christmas Eve tradition of driving around to look at Christmas lights before watching “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” together.

A person she looks up to is her dad.

“I look up to my dad because he is a very admirable and hardworking person,” Pfeiffer said.

When it comes to friendships, she values trust and honesty the most.

Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her friends and being outdoors. She also participates in track, where she enjoys throwing shot put and discus. Some of her favorite school memories include attending school dances and football games.

In her free time, Pfeiffer enjoys listening to music artists Noah Kahan and Alex Warren. Her favorite television show is “Criminal Minds,” and one place she enjoys going out to eat at is Olive Garden. She also likes visiting Venice, Florida, and hopes to travel to the Maldives someday.

Pfeiffer has a few things that make her happy, including quality time with others and being outside. However, she also has some pet peeves such as messy spaces and people chewing loudly. Something people may not know about her is that she has been stung by a jellyfish. She also states that snakes and spiders are her biggest fear.

Looking toward the future, Pfeiffer hopes to attend Chadron State College to major in nursing. Her dream is to become an oncology nurse and work in a hospital.

“My goal is to go to college at Chadron State College to major in nursing,” Pfeiffer said.

With goals of pursuing nursing and making memories with the people closest to her, Raleigh looks forward to what the future holds.
