SKA Hosts Their Third Annual Trunk-or-Treat
By Jada Brummels
It is that time of year again. Halloween is coming fast, and the SKA (Secret Kindness Agency) is doing their part in bringing holiday spirit. Last Saturday, the group hosted their third Trunk-or-Treat event. This event featured 22 trunks, yard games, a group of motorcycles, an army vehicle, and a halloween themed semi truck. Over 270 kids and another 200 parents attended the event.
“I think the kids' favorite part is seeing all of their friends and teachers get dressed up,” president of the club, Raleigh Pfeiffer states.
Some of the most popular trunks at this event included a pirate themed trunk featuring a “walk-the-plank” game, a cookie monster trunk, and a golfing game.
“My favorite part of these events is teaching young people that you can give back and connect with your community in so many ways,” leader of the group, Amy Specht remarks.
Anyone who could not make it this year, do not worry. They would love to see you next year.
Happy Halloween everyone!
