FCCLA’s Annual Kickoff Meeting

On Tuesday, August 18, students interested in joining FCCLA got ice cream, and then they went on a picture scavenger hunt for the first FCCLA meeting.
A junior, Kate Anderson, led the meeting to discuss what FCCLA is and what their goals are throughout the year.
“The meeting was great, and everyone seemed interested and involved in what I had to say. This year we plan to do a lot of community work, especially at the elementary school, to hopefully have a great future recruitment,” Anderson said.
FCCLA sponsor, Angie Brodersen, said that the meeting was very exciting and that the students participated in a specific scavenger hunt.
“What I am most excited about this year is not just the engagement of our officers but the younger students who have ambition to participate this year in FCCLA,” Brodersen said.
