By Parker Gaes
The Pierce boys junior varsity traveled over to Stanton to compete in a competitive tournament against Twin Rivers, Stanton, Lutheran High, Clarkson-Leigh, Norfolk, Chambers-Wheelers Central, Plainview, Randolph, Archangels Catholic, and Stanton JV.
“I think as a team we shot very well, but I feel like next year there are definitely a couple of things that I should work on to get better at,” freshman Logan Brummels said.
The boys got tenth place out of eleven teams. They got a score of 398 points, which is their best score they have had this season.
The junior varsity team consists of Kolten Wragge, Brummels, Wynn Pfeil, Brayden Lambrecht, and Charlie Ottis.
Wragge shot 98 on 18 holes, Brummals shot a 103, Pfeil shot a 95, Lambrecht shot 103, and Ottis shot a 102.
“I think as a team, this is the best we have done. I think that the ball was simply just flying well, and it was a beautiful day for golf,” Wragge said.
That was their last jv meet of the year.
