King and Queen Crowned at Winter Royalty
By Jax Bauer
This year’s annual Winter Royalty dance was held on Saturday, January 10, at Pierce High School,
Students got all dressed up to hit the dance floor with the theme of “Sweethearts.”
The court consisted of Brock Collison, Abigail Cone, Hayden Bauer, Jax Bauer, Emily Endorf, Elizabeth Furstenau, Boston Krueger, Brenden Bolling, Naomi Sullivan, and Samantha Painter.
Junior Lauren Delka announced the biographies of the candidates, and the crowns were presented by student council representatives Carl Vogt and Sydney Kuper. The coronation was held at 7 p.m. with the dance following, ending at 10. Boston Krueger and Emily Endorf were crowned this year’s king and queen.
The student council puts in hard work every year to put on the annual winter royalty dance, organizing the decorations and the DJ while making sure everything runs smoothly.
“I thought the dance was fun and definitely less sweaty and getting king was a great honor and makes me feel great about how people wanted me and Emily to be king and queen,” student council member and 2026 winter royalty king Krueger says.
