JV Golfers Head to Stanton
By Brody Quinn Coulter
The junior varsity boys' golf team flocked to Stanton on Friday, May 9, for the golf invitational. The team shot a 469 on the day.
The team did not have anybody place, however, the team has improved over the year.
“I did better than I was expecting; however, there is still room for improvement,” Skyler Stern says.
“Our JV posted the best score of the season as a team with Skyler Stern leading the way at 110. I'm proud of the effort put in by all our players—Brayden (112), Korbrin (122), Alex (127), and Charlie (125). Every round is a learning opportunity, and we’re building experience and confidence with each tournament. The growth of these young golfers as the season has progressed is awesome. They have grown so much and I cannot wait until next! It was a great way to end the season for these young men” jv coach Jason Freudenburg says.
While the junior varsity season has come to an end, the varsity competes at districts on May 19.
