The boys golf team traveled to Randolph on Monday, May 10, and the team received first place at the meet with a team score of 315.
Head coach Rick Adams states, “Obviously I was very pleased with our results at Randolph. We were able to have all 5 golfers medal as well as winning the meet. We also shot our best score of the season. I feel like we are peaking at the right time with districts just around the corner. This has been the best season we have had since I have been involved with golf, and I'm excited for districts.”
Hunter Raabe placed in third with a score of 75. Chaden Roth shot a 76 and received fourth place. Travis Emory finished in seventh with a score of 81. Abram Scholting shot an 83, placing him in ninth. Tyler Race shot a 96 and placed in 19th.
Travis Emory states, “I personally played my best round this year. The team also put up the lowest score this year. Overall, it was a very good day.”
The boys golf team will have competed in districts Monday, May 17. Anyone who placed there will then continue to Class B state golf at Elks Country Club in Columbus.
