SAE Grants

Dakota Marks, Haiden Magnussen, and Cruz Gleason were awarded $500 for their SAEs (Supervised Agricultural Experience). They were awarded these Grants by the Pierce FFA Alumni. Michael Fleer, a member of the local FFA alumni, presented the checks to the students at the Pierce FFA December meeting. This money will be put toward their SAEs and on March 3rd, they will go before the alumni and present what they have used their money for. Cruz’s SAE is building aquaponics, Haiden’s is wildlife management, and Dakota’s is sheep production. Each of these students had to fill out a rigorous application that was then judged by the alumni’s committee.
