New Staff Profile: Lisa Polt

Pierce High School added a new staff member this week. Lisa Polt joined the high school staff as the library aide.
Though Lisa Polt has worked down the hill at the elementary school, she has decided to start anew and take a chance at the high school. She has lived in Pierce while working at the elementary for the past few years. Polt as two sons, Dalton and Wyatt, who have both gone through and graduated from Pierce High. She is also married to her husband David.
Some the different things that she is learning to do for her job in the library include checking books in and out, helping with the Pierce Public School homepage, helping with student laptops, and taking library inventory. Polt says that the best part about working at the high school is that it is really great to be able to get to know all the students.
“I enjoyed my years at the Elementary, and this is totally different than what I’m used to, but I’m really excited for the work ahead!” said Polt.
