Pierce High freshmen through seniors participated in the annual powder puff games on Saturday, November 9.
The student council put on the event, and the games were played with teams decided by grades and gender.
To start the day, the girls played flag football on the game field. The teams were divided into freshmen and juniors vs. sophomores and seniors. The freshman-junior team won the game by a score of 40 to 38 over the sophomores and seniors.
Later in the day, the boys played a volleyball game in the gym. The teams were freshmen and seniors vs. sophomores and juniors. The volleyball game was won by the freshman-senior team. They won three out four sets.
Student council sponsor Deb Koehlmoos said, “The day was a great success, and it was nice to see the students come together and have fun.”
