P.A.T.S. - What It's All About
Pierce Elementary School would like to introduce you to an organization called P.A.T.S. – Parents And Teachers for Students. This organization consists of parents and teachers of Pierce Elementary students. Whether you are just starting out as a preschool or kindergarten parent or if your child has been at Pierce Elementary for years you are part of this organization. This organization relies on the volunteering of parents, whether it be donating your time or by supporting the fundraisers - it is you that makes P.A.T.S. successful!
The focus of our organization is simple:
To promote the learning and development of students for the future.
P.A.T.S. conducts many activities throughout the school year that show appreciation for the students and teachers while motivating them. Some of these activities include: monthly snack sales, all school assemblies, gifts for the students and teachers, Funflatables, Bingo night and various others.
P.A.T.S. also conducts fundraisers throughout the year. The money raised is used to purchase items within the school that will benefit the learning of the students. A few of the bigger fundraisers held are the selling of magazines, cookie dough sales and the collection of BoxTops.
P.A.T.S. meets the last Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the school library.
