All-School Play in Production

The all school play cast and crew will be performing the children’s play, “On the Tip of My Tongue” on April 9 and 10.  The play will begin at 7 p.m. both nights at the auditorium downtown, with a special dress rehearsal performance put on at the elementary school on April 9 at 3:00 o’clock. 

The cast for this season’s all school play contains upper and lower classmen.  Freshman Micah Bahnfleth and sophomore Zach Halsey succeeded in obtaining the lead rolls.   Micah will be performing as Harry Smith, and Zach as Ben Jordan.  Other characters include Mrs. Smith, Megan Gerteisen; Hildy Smith, Hannah Atkins; Worry Bird, Emily Taylor; Owl Bird, Christian Fisher; Glinda, Kristin Canaday; Injun Joe, Kevin Andersen; Dorothy of Kansas, Morgan Mattson; Witch of the West, Autym White; Snow White, Michaela Acklie; Witch from Snow White, Elyssa Leach; Miss Rottenmeier, Jordan Kocian; Heidi, Linse DeGrez; King Midas, Sam Halsey; soldiers, Blake Douglas and Caleb Lohrberg.  Extra animals include Abbey Buettgenbach, Breanna Attema, Jacob Jones, Alissa Hoffmann, Kim Carlson, Swara Fadnis, Laura Huff, Carrie Gasseling, London Sindelar, Hope Pedersen, Mariah Rhodes, Molly Harris, and Tiffany Guenther. 

“On the Tip of My Tongue” is a children’s play about two teenage boys trying to run away from home for freedom but ending up on trial in a forest.  This play production contains a lot of smiles, laughs, and familiar childhood heroes and villains.

The play’s production will be under the direction of Mrs. Danielle Goetsch.  Student director is Eva Chavez. Goetsch said, “I’m really excited about having the actors present the play for the elementary students.”
