People Who Chew With Their Mouths Open
We have all had the displeasure of sitting next to someone who never learned when they were little to chew with their mouth closed. You immediately lose your appetite when all you hear is chomp chomp chomp, and their mouth smacking. Students who chew with their mouths closed are many people's biggest pet peeve.
When talking to other students, it was easy to concur that nobody likes someone who chews with their mouth open.
One senior even remarked, “Chew with your mouth closed, it’s not hard.”
People who smack their mouths when eating are disgusting. It is easy to quickly not be hungry anymore and even disgusted by the person next to you eating.
While some people may say they cannot tell when they are chewing with their mouths open, it is pretty hard to ignore the sound of smacking the food in your mouth. If the whole lunch table can hear you chomping on your orange chicken with your mouth open, it should not be too hard for you to hear it too.
Having to listen to someone chew with their mouth open can easily ruin someone's day, and is a popular pet peeve many students have.
