The Battle Between the iPhone vs. Android

By Parker Gaes

There has always been a debate about whether the new iPhone is better than the new Android, or in some cases, it is the other way around. Today's debate is about why people like their phone better. And why does the other phone suck?

“I have the Android 16, and I really have been liking it so far! It's better than any iPhone I’ve ever owned. My family switched to Android because the phone plans were so much cheaper than Apple's new phone, and so was the quality of the camera. I will definitely never switch back to the Apple iPhone,” sophomore Caycen Ernst said.

The difference between the two phones is that the camera features are a little bit different, and also the storage capacity on the Android is better than that of the iPhone.

“I have the iPhone 17 Pro Max, and some things that I like about it are that the camera has very good quality for zooming in on stuff when I’m far away, and it can store way more data than my older phone that I had,” sophomore Korbin Gordon said.

In a survey conducted with Pierce High School students, 150 people voted on which phone they liked more, and 117 people voted for the iPhone, and only 35 people voted for Androids.

Although worldwide, Android phones have more phone sales than Apple iPhones do, the high school still voted for iPhones.
