Juniors Take ASVAB to Explore Future Career Paths

By Brynn Schwartz

All juniors took the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) test on Tuesday, October 29.

The test was administered in the classrooms of Mr. Freudenburg and Mr. Doerr throughout the morning.

“The test proved that I am not fit to be an electrician or a mechanic because I did not do well on those. I’m more fit for the medical field rather than the military,” junior Payton Montgomery said.

The assessment is designed to identify students' skills in areas such as mathematics, reading, and science.

“I had fun seeing my results and seeing some of the jobs I received and the feedback, but I’m happy it is over,” junior Makenna Blecher said.

On Monday, November 3, 025 juniors got their test results back and took another survey of likes and dislikes to determine what fits them best and what careers fit them the best.
