Spirit Week in Rewind
By Grace Retzlaff
Everyone loves a good dress-up day, the outfit of the day practically picks itself out!
But what makes a good spirit week stand out is when everyone participates and dresses up.
Senior Boston Krueger is someone who always goes all out with the dress-up days. He really went out all during homecoming week with western day, which he stated was his favorite of the days.
The themes were on point this year, and the majority of people dressed up for them. There is always room for improvement, but overall, “I think you guys did a really great job this year with the days,” Krueger states.
He had a very good idea on how we could get more people to dress up, though. Krueger states, “Prizes would definitely help get more people to dress up.”
Fellow senior Savannah Beutler’s favorite dress-up day leans more toward the actual blue and white spirit Day. The senior girls wore the senior jeans they painted at the beginning of the school year on Friday. This was her favorite day because “Everybody’s designs are very cute and creative,” she says.
Homecoming week could be improved in many ways, she states, such as “Giving more options to students about dress up days.”
This would mean having different days that are not repeats of previous ones, but are still unique and easy enough so everyone can dress up.
Overall, homecoming dress up days this year were a success.
