Pierce Telephone Hosts Coffee and Connections in September
By Rylee Altwine
The first Friday of every month, a new Chamber of Commerce business hosts Coffee and Connections.
Coffee and Connections is a way for community members and chamber members to get to know each other better. Gathering around the table, community members talk about anything that comes to mind. Making it more exciting, coffee, cinnamon rolls, and cookies are provided.
Coffee and Connections usually takes place sometime in the morning, but can sometimes be held later in the afternoon, depending on what time the business hosting it wants to have it. On Friday, September 5, Pierce Telephone Company hosted Coffee and Connections from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Pierce Telephone Company.
Some of the topics that the members discussed included the Pierce volleyball game the night before, local news, new updates in the community, and many more.
It does not matter if someone is new to the community or if they have lived in Pierce their entire life; everyone is welcome. The first Friday of the month, make sure to check out Coffee and Connections.
