Meet the 2025 Homecoming Candidates

The 2025 homecoming candidates have been chosen. They include queen candidates Abbie Cone, Emily Endorf, Mya Johnson, and Sami Painter, and king candidates Jax Bauer, Brenden Bolling, Brock Collison, and Kaiden Fritz.
Abbie Cone is the daughter of David and Steph Cone. She has been in girls letter club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes for four years, National Honor Society for three years, and student council for two years. Abbie is the current president of National Honor Society and girls letter club. She has participated in band for two years, journalism for three years, and quiz bowl, volleyball, basketball, and track for four years. She has been on the academic team for quiz bowl for four years, and earned letters in volleyball, basketball, and track for four years. Abbie was all conference in volleyball and basketball for two years, and earned Academic All-State for basketball, journalism, and track all for one year. She also received principal’s honor roll all four years. Abbie was a peer mentor for one year. Abbie is a member of Northern Heights Baptist Church and has been in Hands for Christ for three years.
Jax Bauer is the son of Trevor and Kelsey Bauer. He has been in boys letter club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes for four years. Jax was in band for three years, and basketball, football, and track for four years. Bauer is a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Emily Endorf is the daughter of Joel and Sarah Endorf. She has been a member of the girls letter club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes for four years, the National Honor Society for three years, and the Student Council and FFA for two years. Emily has been the vice president for both the student council and the National Honor Society. She has participated in volleyball, basketball, and track for four years and band for two years. Emily has received principal's honor roll for four years. She has been on the academic team for one year, and received letters in volleyball, basketball, and track for four years. Endorf has received Academic All-State for track and field for one year and also peer tutored for one year. She is a member of Zion Lutheran Church and has been in Hands for Christ and 4-H.
Brenden Bolling is the son of Adam and Alisha Bolling. He has been a member of the boys letter club for four years. Brenden has been in football, wrestling, and track for three years, and in cross country for one year. He has received honor roll for one year, principal's honor roll two years, and was all-conference for wrestling three years, all district for wrestling one year and track one year, and finished sixth place as a freshman, second place as a sophomore, and was state champion his junior year in wrestling. He also finished sixth in the 800 his junior year at state track. Bolling is a member of the Zion Lutheran Church Youth Group.
Mya Johnson is the daughter of Dan and Monica Johnson. She has been a member of student council for four years, girls letter club and FCCLA for three years, and National Honor Society for two years. Mya was the president of her junior class, secretary of student council, and treasurer of her freshman class and girls letter club. She is currently the secretary of the senior class. Mya has been in band, drama, speech, and quiz bowl for four years, cheerleading for three, and track for one year. Johnson has received an academic letter for two years, been a peer tutor for two years, and been on principal’s honor roll for four years. She had been in All-State band for three years and was a state speech competitor for one year. Johnson was a UCA All-American Cheerleader for one year.
Brock Collison is the son of Ryan and Brooke Collison. He has been a member of boys letter club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes for four years, National Honor Society for three years, and student council for two years. He also is the treasurer for student council. Brock has been in football for four years, basketball for three years, and track for one year. He has received academic team and principal’s honor roll for three years, all-conference for one year in basketball, and Academic All-State for one year in basketball. Collison is a member of Zion Lutheran Church Youth Group and has been involved in Secret Kindness Agents (SKA) for two years.
Sami Painter is the daughter of Les and Sharon Painter. She has been in girls letter club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Sami has participated in speech for one year, and volleyball, wrestling, and track for four years. She received letters in volleyball, wrestling, and track for four years. Sami has been on principal’s honor roll for four years, and was Academic All-State wrestling for one year. Sami is a member of Life Point Church and has been in Hands for Christ for four years.
Kaiden Fritz is the son of Scott and Jennifer Fritz. He has been a member of FFA for four years. Kaiden has been in wrestling and track for three years, and football for four years. He has received academic letters for three years, principal’s honor roll for three years, and all-conference in wrestling for two years. Fritz has received all district and all-state honors wresting for two years. Kaiden qualified for state wrestling his sophomore year.
Homecoming coronation will happen after the football game on Friday, September 12. The homecoming dance will be on Saturday, September 13, from 8-10:30 p.m at the Pierce auditorium.
