Class of 1974’s 50 Year Reunion

Held with the annual alumni celebration, the class of 1974 will celebrate their 50 year reunion this summer on Friday, June 28, 2024.
Class of ‘74 alum Cindy Riggert comments, “I am most excited to see all my old classmates and what we accomplished in 50 years.”
The president of the 1974 class is Lu Prahl. For their reunion, on Friday evening, an individual party will be held at the golf course with a golf outing that afternoon. Since some of the class has not seen the “new” high school yet, tours will be provided throughout the weekend. The rest of Friday will be used for catching up and making more memories while enjoying good food.
Continuing on to Saturday, the all class alumni dinner will begin at 11:30 with socializing at 11 a.m. at the Pierce Pavilion The parade and pep rally will be held Saturday afternoon.
Prahl says, “Hopefully, several classmates will attend because it’s fun to gather together to share information about our families, career, and accomplishments.”
Some of the memories that this class holds are they were the first volleyball team to make it to state, girls track started when this class were freshmen, and the boys made it to state in basketball their senior year.
Prahl’s advice for everyone now is to “not think too highly of ourselves, as all of our talents and abilities are gifted to us so we can use them to benefit all mankind. Also, there are always at least two sides to every story, and it is our responsibility to investigate all sides, so we are able to discern what is the real truth.”
