Pierce High Adds a New Staff Member in Counselor's Office
By Lauren Ueding
Pierce High welcomes Mrs. Amy Specht as one of our new counselor office members.
“My first week at Pierce High was awesome! Everybody was very accepting and kind, and I love the atmosphere here,” after asking her how her first week at Pierce High was.
She said that what is different about this job than her other jobs was that she gets to see a lot more students and not just her classroom. She also has the ability to make a connection with all the students in the school.
Her hobbies include reading. She is a huge Harry Potter fan. She also has a 14-year-old Maltese dog and seven fish.
The reason why she transferred to Pierce High was because she always wanted to work in a school and work with kids. She said that this job was the perfect opportunity to chase that dream of hers.
