Why is picture day important?

Smile Bluejays! Pierce Public Schools picture day is just around the corner. Make sure to dress up and be ready to beam at the camera.
Students may think their pictures will only end up on the wall at their parent’s house. However, a school picture has many uses. For instance students and parents will find it on the PowerSchool student information system, on student ID cards, and especially in the yearbook.
And for all the seniors, this year's pictures will follow them all the way to college and beyond on their transcripts.
Digital Solutions out of Norfolk will be responsible for capturing student portraits.
“The product is good quality for the people who purchase them,” states high school principal Mark Brahmer. “They (Digital Solutions) also do a great job moving kids through and getting them back to class.”
Please remember all photos must be purchased online this year.
