Friday’s Casino Night At Pierce High

by Raegan Theisen

Pierce High School held their annual junior-senior prom on Friday, March 17, and this year’s theme was “Casino Night.” Prom was hosted by the junior class.

Senior Addison Sporleder comments, “I really enjoyed being around my friends and classmates the whole night. The dance was filled with fun, along with post prom after! I definitely made some long-lasting memories.”

Doors opened for the night at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30. After dinner, the dance began at 8:00 and continued until 11:00. The dance was held at the White House in Pierce.

Post prom took place at the YMCA in Norfolk from 12:00 a.m. to roughly 3:00. At post prom, students got to play games and eat all the food they possibly could. The night ended with students winning various prizes.

First-time prom attendee, Skylar Scholting says, “I thought it was a lot of fun, and I am very excited for the next two years. My favorite part of the night was probably the meal because it was fun to get to talk to people I don’t always talk to.”
