Pierce Football Takes on the 2023 Northeast Nebraska All-Star Football Classic

The new 2023 roster for the Northeast Nebraska All-Star football game has been released, and multiple players and coaches will significantly represent Pierce. Just a reminder, this is the best of the best coaches and players in all of Northeast Nebraska.
To start, Abram Scholting, Schuyler Simpson, Carter Meier, and Dawson Raabe were all selected to play on the red team. This will give all of them an opportunity to get their name out there, and it recognizes them for all their hard work.
Simpson summarizes how they feel about being elected, saying, “It is really an honor, and I’m really appreciative of the opportunity. This could benefit me in the future by building new relationships for different jobs and careers.”
Scholting also pitches in, “I’m striving to just have fun and enjoy the experience playing with some different people. It’s always great to put on the pads again.”
Not only do players get recognition for their excellence, but coaches do as well. Representing Pierce, coach Mark Brahmer was elected head coach for the Red team. He comments, “It is a definite honor of mine to coach in the 2023 Northeast Nebraska All-Star Football Classic game. The opportunity to work alongside some of the best coaches in the state as well as coach some of the very best players in the state is an absolute thrill.”
Filling in the coaching staff, coach Carl Scholting and coach Tyler Legate were also elected to help out the All-Star athletes.
This All-Star game is not only about athletes getting their names out there, the program also gives back to Northeast Nebraska. Proceeds from the game go to the purchase of equipment to support the needs of athletes at the Faith Regional Health Services Rehabilitation/Wellness Center. Re-investing in the health and welfare of student-athletes across Northeast Nebraska, the all-star classic football game is all about giving back.
The game will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the Veterans Memorial Field in Norfolk. Kickoff has been set for 11:00 a.m.
