Honor Band at Pierce

Pierce hosted an honor band for grades 6-9 Saturday, April 2, that includes 36 musicians from Pierce.
The musicians involved are Makayla Shefl, Kaelyn Halsey, Jordyn Schwede, Jessa Kraft, Elliot Vanness, Kate Anderson, Darcy Watts, Brandon Thomsen, Kolten Wragge, Payton Ebmeier, Evelyn Skrdla, Meredith Kreinert, Brayden Lambrecht, Cole DeBoer, Brooke Podany, Natalie Endorf, Lauren Delka, Zoey Ebmeier, Amelia Ahlers, Hadleigh Collison, Mya Johnson, Lauren Ueding, Aubrie Zimmerman, Alexandria Huwaldt, Colbie Podany, Kaylee Steffen, Aubrey Hanson, Colter Anderson, Haley Scholting, Trayton Christiansen, Isaiah Yarde, Abigail Cone, Cayden Holan, Grace Retzlaff, Cooper Wachholtz, and Alexis Sporleder. In addition to students from Pierce, 15 other schools traveled to Pierce High School.
Aubrey Hanson, a saxophonist, had this to say about the experience, “I’m super excited to be in the honor band for the fourth year. Although I’m sad to see it go, it’s good to see the improvement from sixth grade.”
Cooper Wachholtz also had something to say about performing here at Pierce, “Pierce Honor Band is one of the better bands to play for, and I can’t wait till the concert.”
A concert was held at 3:30 p.m. the same afternoon.
