2022 Fairytale Prom
by Ella Gaes
Friday night, March 19, the juniors and seniors busted out their dance moves at prom. The prom theme this year was decided by the junior class, and they picked “Fairytale,” which included decor such as white and gold roses with white lanterns. The dance was held at the White House in Pierce.
Senior Ritter Oestreich says, “Prom was a ton of fun this year. All things from the meal and dance, to post prom was a great memory that will last forever. My favorite part was definitely getting hypnotized at post-prom even though I may have embarrassed myself a little. As a senior this is one of the last things my class will do all together, and it was a great final hooray!”
The dance was followed by post prom at the high school, which included a hypnotist. A handful of students were embarrassed with their unconscious self, human foosball court and a blow up wrecking ball cage. Along with amazing snacks and super cool prizes, post prom there was also a booth set up where you could get your caricature drawn.
Junior Alena Peters says, “My first prom went really well. Decorating started out as chaos but the finished product was amazing. The dance was so much fun and watching people get hypnotized at post prom was hilarious.”
