Students Should be Able to Bring Unclear Water Bottles to School

by Graison Pfeiffer

People are constantly telling kids to eat healthy, drink water, and exercise. These things seem easy but become difficult when strict rules are applied to what they can and cannot do at school, which is where they spend most of their time. Students need to be able to bring unclear water bottles to school. People still need to be able to drink water to help lessen sick days, improve alertness, and save time by students not having to go to the water fountains to get a drink. Some people may not have a clear water bottle and may not want to go buy one just for school. Also, the water can’t stay cold as long because there is less insulation, unlike water bottles, like Yetis or HydroFlasks. Even though it would be a ridiculous idea to try to bring alcohol into school, clear water bottles aren’t going to help that, people will still find a way to bring things into the school. Finally, having unclear water bottles won’t make spills happen less often and students usually bring unclear water bottles for practices after school, so this would mean we only have to bring one water bottle. Unclear water bottles won’t affect our learning, they will only be less of an issue to remember and help students stay hydrated.
