JH Band Marches to Victory in Lions Club Parade

On Saturday, September 22, Pierce’s Junior High Band attended the Norfolk Lions Club Parade. Pierce’s band got first out the five junior high bands that attended. The top two bands were awarded prizes. Norfolk’s junior high band won second.
Pierce played their parade song, one of the high school pep band songs, “Hail Varsity,” and a few others, one even involving dancing.
Band director Mr. Mike Sindt stated, “They did exceptionally well and looked very professional. They did well with their precision of marching and visuals and did a nice job with musicality.”
