New Student Profile: Jayden Coulter

Jayden Coulter, a 12 year-old 7th grader, joined Pierce High school at the start of this year. He is involved in football, wrestling, baseball and track. Jayden moved to Pierce from Battle Creek. Jayden has two pets, a dog named Zane and a cat named Dasher. He says he has enjoyed his first few weeks at Pierce.
Jayden’s favorite class so for is math because it’s easy. His hobby is playing sports.
New Student Profile: Klarissa Norris

Klarissa Norris has recently joined the PHS student body as a 10th grader.
Klarissa transferred from Plainview High School because of her preference of learning environments. So far she has enjoyed her time at PHS, and her favorite class is band with Mr. Sindt. Some extracurricular activities she is planning to be involved in include music, speech, track, and FFA. Her hobbies and interests include music performance and feeder cattle operation.
New Student Profile: Summer Kaup

Summer Kaup joined the PHS student body as an 8th grader. She transferred to Pierce with her sister Bethany from Norfolk Middle School, and lived in Norfolk.
Summer plans to be involved in basketball while at PHS. So far her favorite class is choir with Mrs. Haselhorst. Some of her hobbies and interests include playing volleyball and listening to music. She says she has enjoyed her initial weeks at Pierce High.
New Student Profile: Silvia Gregorio

Foreign exchange student Silvia Gregorio, a 15 year-old 10th grader, has joined the Pierce High student body for the school year. Her parents’ names are Nicoletta Altomare and Giuseppe Roberto Gregorio. Silvia also has two siblings, Mario Gregorio (8) and Irene Gregorio (7). She is from Molfetta, Italy. She has two pet fish named Arancino and Limoncino. She enjoyed her first week at new school in a different country.
Silvia wanted to be an exchange student at Pierce because she wanted to improve her English and know what it’s like to live in a different country, as she says that her school in Italy is very different from Pierce. Silvia’s classes this semester are Geometry, English 11, Nutrition & Food and American History 2.
Silvia’s hobby is cooking because it is cool, different, and fun.
New Student Profile: Chloe Davies

Chloe Davies is a new PHS freshman coming from Fremont. Chloe said her first week of school went alright, although she is adjusting to how small Pierce High is in comparison to her former school.
During her time at PHS, Chloe plans to participate in basketball, FCCLA, and possibly one-act. Her favorite course on her schedule so far is Mrs. Haselhorst’s choir class. Some of her hobbies include sleeping, playing Sims, and playing other video games.
New Student Profile: Bethany Kaup

Bethany Kaup moved to PHS from Norfolk to join this year’s 7th grade class. So far, she says her favorite class is English with Mrs. Goetsch.
Bethany transferred to Pierce High along with her sister Summer, who is an 8th grader. Something Bethany hopes to get involved in at PHS is dance. Some of her hobbies include reading and exercising.
