New e-mail Client For Pierce Public Schools Employees
All school employees who have an e-mail account with ESU #8 should be aware that there is now a new client to access e-mail effective July 8. The former e-mail client was Sun Convergence. The new e-mail client is Zimbra. You can find a link to the new client from the Our Favorite Links Tab or click here: Zimbra email client
All new messages from July 8 forward will be found in Zimbra. Sun Convergence e-mail is still available, for a limited time, but no new messages will be delivered to Sun.
If you have your ESU e-mail forwarded to another e-mail address, such as G-mail, or use other e-mail programs such as Entourage or Outlook, the link should continue to work.
The login and password remain the same.
You may not have your address book in the new Zimbra. If you do not have it, you can export your Sun address book and import it into Zimbra. Please contact technology personnel at your school for help in doing this.
There are a number of preferences you may want to set in Zimbra. If you need help with any of these preferences or have questions, see your tech personnel.
Please change bookmarks to the new Zimbra e-mail.
