The junior high band was under the direction of Mr. Bob Gibson. The selections they played were “Adrenaline Engines,” “The Oregon Trail,” “At Sunrise,” “Jungle Dance,” and “The Chimes of Liberty.”

The next band to perform was the Symphonic Band directed by Mr. Brad Weber. The selections they played were “New Era Fanfare,” “Gamelan,” “Troll Dance,” and “Get up!”

The last band to perform was the Wind Ensemble Personnel. This band was under the direction of Dr. Joshua Calkin. The selections they played were “Lightning Field,” “Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis,” “Second Suite in F for Military Band,” and “El Relicario.”

“The bands this year were a higher quality this year due to the preparedness and talent of the students,” said band director Michael Sindt. “I always look forward to this honor band because it pulls in students from Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota.”
