There Is A Lot Going On Around Here!
April 27 is a BIG day at PHS! Look at all these things that are due today or this next week!
1. KISS A SENIOR GOODBYE! Order your Hershey's Kisses for your favorite senior. You can order 1 for 25 cents or 5 for $1.00. Get your order blank in the office and turn it in to a Student Council member. Deadline is April 27.
2. Can Collection - The reading class that collects the most canned goods by April 27 will win a reward - no Reading on Monday, April 30. This Canned Food Drive is sponsored by the Student Council.
3. Hat Day - April 27 is Hat Day, sponsored by AID class. Protect yourself from the sun and wear a hat when you are outdoors. Sun Week is April 23-27. Students will be allowed to wear hats on April 27 during school.
4. PSA Contest - The AID class is sponsoring a Public Service Announcement contest. Get 4-6 of your friends together and create a PSA announcement on sun safety about 1 minute long. You could win a pizza party! This is due May 3 to Mrs. Muir.
5. Talent Show - The Journalism class is sponsoring a Talent Show. Sign up in the office to perform or judge by May 2. There will be a prize for the winner. The show will be held during the Awards Assembly on May 15.
6. Return your overdue library books and pay your fines!
7. Bring your boxes of tissues to school! You need to get them here before you can check out.
8. Honor Society members - be sure to turn in your Personal Service Project verification forms. You need to get them in before you can check out.
