This year’s Northeast Nebraska All-Star Football Classic will be played on June 12, 2021, at the Veteran’s Memorial Field in Norfolk, and representing Pierce, playing for the red team, will be Logan Moeller, Shawn Rinkel, Tristan Miller, and Garret Meier.
Players are chosen from a pool of athletes throughout the greater Northeast Nebraska area. The Northeast Nebraska All-Star Football Classic is for graduated seniors, who are nominated by their own coach. The game is for players to receive the opportunity to promote football and to recognize athletes for their hard work.
Senior Logan Moeller expresses his gratitude by saying, “I feel honored to have been chosen, and I’m glad I get to strap it up with the boys one last time.”
The red team will be coached by Steve Neptune of West Holt High School.
Band members and cheerleaders will also represent Pierce at the June 12 game, starting at noon.
