One-actors Take on First Performances

by Morgan Crist The Pierce High one-actors performed their play The Beggar’s Opera in the Swedish Festival at Wausa High School on Monday, November 13. Internet Safety Speaker Coming to PHS

Ryan Sothan, who is the outreach coordinator for the Nebraska Attorney General, will be speaking at Pierce High School on December 13 th at 6:30 pm. He will be speaking to parents about the Internet and what they need to know to keep their child safe. Wrestlers Hit the Mat

Annual Veterans’ Day Program Held at PHS

Mason Sindelar Named to Cross Country All-State Team

Mason Sindelar was named to the Nebraska Coaches Association All-State cross country team recently as a result of his fine performance at the 2017 state cross country meet that was held in Kearney on Friday, October 20. Mason finished in 6th place with a time of 17:30. There are two all-state teams that a runner can be named to. JH Wrestlers Compete at Madison

Pierce Elementary Donates 938 Items

As a part of our Red Ribbon Week Celebration, the students at Pierce Elementary donated 938 items of nonperishable food or household cleaning items to the Pierce Food Pantry. We are so proud of them all. We had a contest to see which class could bring in the most items. Ms. Wragge's 4th grade class brought in the most. They donated 157 items!!! Journalism to be Featured on 106 KIX Pierce High’s journalism class is now participating in a program called High School Headlines through 106 KIX radio.
