The Lady Jays will travel to Humphrey for their next game versus the St. Francis Flyers on Thursday, January 16.

The girls played hard. We had some opportunities late in the game, but we came up short. We need to be consistent. Our execution at both ends of the floor needs to get better. When shots don't fall, we have to find a way to not let that affect the other parts of the game.”

We have things to work on but overall the all the girls played amazing!”

Following Gilmore in scoring was sophomore Kennedy Wareneke and freshman Ella Gaes with six points each, Addison Sporleder had three points to contribute to the score, and Callie Arnold had two points.

C team coach Angie Schroeder stated, “Savannah Gilmore was my player of the game, [with] 11 points, one 3-pointer; she had no turnovers; she distributed the ball. What’s really cool about Savannah is she’ll pull up, she will slink her way through and pull up and she will dish it out to the person in the corner in the low and they’re not ready because she does it with a no look.”

The C team will be back in action in a tournament at Plainview on Saturday.
